Couple of Texas Longhorn Cows posing for me in from of Devils Tower. Devils Tower rises 1,267 feet above the Belle Fourche River, and features the world's largest example of columnar jointing. Known as sacred place to over 20 Native American tribes, the Tower is also known as Bear Lodge. The Texas Longhorn derives from cattle brought to the Americas by Spanish conquistadores from the time of the Second Voyage of Christopher Columbus.
